Responsible for receiving, stocking, distribution and delivery of automotive and equipment related materials. Superior vehicle operator skills, clean driving record and above average geographical knowledge of area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Works under general supervision.
1st and 3rd shift positions.
Data Systems: Requires the ability to process, calculate, compute, summate, and/or tabulate data and/or information.
Human Interaction: Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of individuals in various situations projecting a positive, professional image. The Parts Specialist must be able to follow specific instructions and respond to simple requests from supervisors.
Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to utilize a wide variety of reference and descriptive data and information such as purchase orders, invoices, delivery slips, vendor contracts, material safety data sheets, parts manuals, vehicle maintenance manuals, regulations, schedules, inventory lists, correspondence and general operating manuals.
Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to lift, push and pull parts, materials and supplies for storage, delivering and distribution. Ability to stoop, bend and twist, climb stairs to carry, stock and distribute parts inventory. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Previous experience with auto parts is a plus.
